Week 5 saw me lose 1.6kg which I was initially disappointed with but gave myself a kick up the bum and got over it pretty quickly. Still a pretty good number.
On the weekend I had to drive my mother to an appointment and spent time in the car looking out over the ocean while I waited for her. I would of normally eaten a whole chunk of food while watching the world go by (but not putting anything in my mouth if someone was walking past of course) instead I had my planned morning tea and plenty of water. I was in mums car and decided to look in the centre console cause she usually has some goodies. A cherry ripe and a whole packet of m&ms. Woweeee.
Don’t worry, didn’t even give it more than two thoughts. I’m at the point I just don’t want to do anything to jeopardise my results each week.
Though when I did collect Mum it was lunchtime and being a coastal town fish and chips was the obvious answer. I had a very small amount (as did Mum who rarely eats much and never finishes a meal unless its toast) and savoured each bite then put the nearly full box of chips in the bin. I checked it against MFP and pretty sure I stayed within my calorie limit for the day as I certainly didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. Probably a less than ideal way to eat but it’s not every day.
Next week is the 12WBT halfway point. My goal for the whole 12 weeks was to lose 10kgs. Think I can achieve it in half the time?
